IMPORTANT! This page is for general and HTML/CSS faq's only.
Question: When do I receive my purchased
template?
Answer: You will receive a download link immediately after purchase. Please note: In certain purchased packages we require, for your own security, telelphone verification prior to delivery.
Question: What forms of payment do you accept?
Answer: Our secure online PayPal account allows the use of most major
credit cards.
Question: Is there a return policy?
Answer: Sorry, because our templates are intangible products they are non-refundable. Furthermore, we cannot take responsibility for a customer's lack of HTML/CSS knowledge. Please ensure you have the prerequisite HTML/CSS knowledge and required software (HTML editor and graphic program) to make use of these templates. Question: Will my HTML/CSS template include a drop menu like I see on the Joomla templates?
Answer: No, they will not. Only unless the template description states otherwise. You should read each template description carefully so you understand what is, and is not included.
The drop menus you see in our Joomla live demos are built-in features specific to Joomla CMS only. You can always add a drop menu to any HTML/CSS template, however, it is up to the user to configure such additions, and there are plenty of online free resources available.
Question: Why is my search, contact, and newsletter forms not working in my static/html template?
Answer: Our templates do not include any additional scripts. All forms such as search fields, newsletter subscription, or contact information are inactive. By definition, these forms are dynamic functions that require customized setup between the end user and his or her server/host company. Note: This information does not apply to the Joomla templates. All Joomla templates use the Joomla database which all scripts comes automatically.
Question: What software will I need to edit my static/html template?
Answer: Adobe Photoshop CS+, and Dreamweaver or Microsoft Expression Web
for modifying your html web pages. Note: We highly recommend using Macromedia Dreamweaver for editing and maintaining your website template. *Note for Customers Using GIMP for graphic editing :
Please note that while GIMP allows you to switch out image layers, at present, it doesn't offer a method for editing a text layer originally created in Photoshop. Therefore, the best option is to hide (or delete) the original text layer, making note of the font styles, and then creating a new layer in place of the original one.
Question: Will Microsoft Frontpage html editor work for editing your templates?
Answer: Yes, Frontpage will work for static/html templates only. Please see the requirements for Joomla products here. However, in most cases you will discover display issues in the design mode of your editor. We recommend upgrading to Expression Web if this is a concern for the user.
Question: What knowledge do I need to have to setup my static/html template for the web.
Answer: To edit parts of your template you should be familiar with cascading style sheets (css). Some basic knowledge of html is also required. In addition having previous experience or knowledge of the html editor you plan to use is also helpful.
Question: What is Adobe Photoshop (PSD)?
Answer: Adobe Photoshop is the industry standard for graphic web
design and print media work. Visit the Adobe website for a free trial of
this and other popular Adobe products at http://www.adobe.com.
Question: What format will I receive my template in?
Answer: You will receive your template as a zipped file (these files are too large to be sent in an unzipped format). If you do not already have the necessary zip software installed on your computer there are plenty of free zip software tools available online. Our recommendation is ZipWiz - you can download the software from here http://www.zipwiz.com/ZipWiz/download_main.html.
Question:
How do I determine whether a html/css template or a Joomla! template is the better option for my church or organization?
Answer: Generally speaking, if you are planning on developing a large website requiring frequent changes/updates, made by multiple parties, then Joomla! templates are a good way to go. Otherwise, an html/css static church template is probably the better option. Please note: While Joomla! requires little to no prerequisite html knowledge the user interface and infrastructure still offers a pretty steep learning curve. For more information, click here.

you see fit to meet your personal preferences and requirements. However,
for additional sites you develop, you must purchase additional templates-
even if you are using the same one over again. It is an infringement of
copyright to redistribute or resell our product without our consent or written
permission.
Question: What are the benefits of purchasing a website template?
Answer: Considering that you can purchase one of our templates from
anywhere between $19 to $62 dollars, the first and great advantage is price.
Because the other option would be hiring a website designer who would charge
you much more for a custom design. Turn around time is another major advantage
in this method because our pre-existing, fully formatted, fully functional
website templates are ready to use with just a few modifications.
Lastly you don't have to worry about designing a template that is going
to be compatible in all or most browsers, we've already done the work for
you.
